I am the artist behind Duck Pond Creations, and my name is Makenna! I am an Arizona photographer with a passion for capturing meaningful moments and turning them into lasting memories. Why I do What I do
After engaging in many photoshoots with people who felt uncomfortable, didn't want to smile, and did not like posing. I realized that posing and stiff photography is not for me (kudos to those who love it). I believe when you feel most in your element, you look your best. The more comfortable you are, the more comfortable your photos come out. So before your shoot, we will discuss what you like, what you do for fun, and when you feel most in your element - and capture those. I believe in making your photoshoot experience comfortable and your own through movement, and artfully documenting what you love forever!
Comfortability
My goal for your photoshoot is for you to feel as comfortable as possible. Together, we will plan your shoot through understanding what may be holding you back from wanting to take photos, how you would describe your personality, and what you want to accomplish with your photoshoot! I aim to make your photoshoot before, during, and after to be as comfortable as possible.
Make it your own
Your dream photoshoot should be exactly that, YOUR DREAM. While I am present to document it, I want to capture you in the way you want to see yourself. Whether you are an artist, a reader, an adventurer, or a homebody, I take your shoot and turn it into creative scenes of your favorite things.
Movement & Motion
As a photographer, I love the way that movement looks in photos. When you are doing something you love and are not concerned with being stiffly posed, and worrying about every little movement. Instead, your shoot will be full of you moving to alleviate any stress that may come during posing
Visual art for forever inspire you
When you book a shoot with me, you get a digital gallery to access forever. This way, you have access to visual pieces of art to use for decorations, your website, social media, etc. The deliverables that you receive from me will be creatively taken, edited, and beautifully sent.
